Mousikè téchne: between reenactment and museum. Experience to understand

The reenactment of ancient music and dance is proving to be a very useful means for approaching written and iconographic sources in a different way and understanding them better. The reconstruction hypotheses become bridges to get as close as possible to the ancient world and understand how the emotions of the human being have evolved, but for most cases they remain very similar. It is fundamental, therefore, the multidisciplinary nature and dialogue between different fields of knowledge, from archaeology to neuroscience, anthropology to reenactment, all in a perspective not only theoretical but also practical.

Mousikè téchne: tra reenactment e museo Esperire per capire Il reenactment – il rimettere in azione – della musica e danza antica si sta rivelando un mezzo molto utile per approcciare in modo diverso e comprendere meglio le fonti scritte e iconografiche. Le ipotesi di ricostruzione diventano ponti per avvicinarsi il più possibile al mondo antico e comprendere come le emozioni dell’essere umano si siano evolute, ma per la maggior parte dei casi siano rimaste molto simili. È fondamentale, pertanto, la multidisciplinarietà e il dialogo fra diversi campi del sapere, dall’archeologia alle neuroscienze, dall’antropologia al reenactement, il tutto in un’ottica non solo teorica, ma anche pratica.
